Sustainability, a strategic pillar of our business

In order to develop the mine's activities in compliance with ecological standards, an environmental and social impact study has been drawn up and validated by the National Environment Agency (ANDE) in Côte d'Ivoire. This document serves as a compass for the implementation of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy. In line with our vision, one of our strategic priorities is to integrate the "sustainabilitý pillar into our activities.

Our product, from Bauxite to High-Purity Alumina

Bauxite is the main mineral used in the manufacture of aluminium. With its high alumina and iron oxide content, it is an essential ore in the production of aluminium and gallium. When processed, bauxite is a key component of the automotive and aerospace industries, and more generally of the transport sector. It is also used in the manufacture of electric batteries and in the construction industry. The tests we carried out at a calcination unit in Brazil were conclusive. The content varied between 78.5% and 86% alumina (Al2O3).
